Sick...god he felt so sick, how did he not notice sooner? He should have stayed by your side, he just....he thought you would be safe.

It didn't feel real, Husk could not believe that you were gone.

Swallowing thickly, Husk turned to face the princess, his ears flat on his head. "Is this my fault? That she's gone? What if she's in the rubble? I gotta-."

"Husk...this isn't your fault...we'll find y/n." Charlie took a step forward as she placed her hand on his shoulder. "They're not in the hotel...they're not even in the hotel...."

"What?!"

Husk's head snapped towards Charlie, his heart hammering in his chest. "Where are they?"

Bringing your knees to your chest, you closed your eyes tightly. "Why did you take me?" You've finally calmed down enough to ask him that question, you wanted to know...you needed to know.

Adam kept his back to you, he couldn't look at you, couldn't face you. "Because you're my wife..."

"Wife?! Now I'm your wife?! A year! You waited a fucking year to suddenly realize that I am your wife Adam!" You yelled, anger taking over your sadness.

"You...you have no right! No right! I finally found my family! I finally found someone to love me and you."

Biting your lip you shook your head doing your best to take hold of your emotions. "Why wasn't I good enough before? Why now?"

"I." Adam paused, he was not sure he could answer you that question. He knew he felt something for you, he had too. "I dont...I'm sorry...I'm an asshole and I don't deserve you...I don't think I ever deserved you."

Adam paused hearing arguing outside the door though he had to jump back once it swung wide open.

Bursting through the door, Charlie let her shoulders drop once she spotted you. "You're here! I'm so happy you're here." Ignoring Lute's protests as she shoved Adam aside the princess tugged you into her arms hugging you tightly. "Come on, we're going home, everyone was so worried, especially Husk! ."

Tensing, you looked at Adam.He wasn't looking at you but you caught a weak smile on his lips as you walked away. "I wish it was better...goodbye Adam."

Finally turning to look at you, Adam gave you his signature smirk despite a tear running down his cheek. "See ya later doll...congrats on the whole pregnancy thing too. I just know You'll be a kickass mother."
